Via the scrollytelling innovation project, VRT researches innovative ways to present (news) stories with more interactivity. It explores how to improve news articles by adding digital elements such as videos, data visualisations, 360° images, and before and after image. By using scrollytellings we can combine different elements into one cohesive story, which unfolds as the reader scrolls through the story.
An in-depth analysis of scrollytellings (user experience and software) is used to create new storytelling experiences on the VRT NWS website and application.
