MyWay XR

MyWay XR is an app for mixed reality headsets that aims to guide visitors in the VRT building. Via the app, both professional and non-professional visitors are led to their destination with an augmented reality experience. The innovation project explores informative and storytelling capabilities of AR, as well as new AR interfaces and UX experiences. This virtual signage offers several advantages in comparison to ‘classic’ tours: there are more opportunities to improve accessibility, the signage can be adjusted to changing needs, and new media can easily be integrated.
