Content4All aims to make content more accessible to the sign language community. Therefore, the consortium will develop the necessary technologies and algorithms to achieve automatic sign-translation capabilities. The end result will make use of a photorealistic 3D human avatar for sign-interpreted content creation and will enable low-cost personalization of content for deaf viewers, without causing disruption for hearing viewers.
This innovation project won the prestigious NAB Technology Innovation Award in 2020.
